PEACE RIVER

Peace River Refuge & Ranch, Inc. is a non-profit exotic animal sanctuary and educational facility dedicated to the adoption of confiscated, retired, abused or otherwise homeless exotic animals.
The animals are given a permanent home. They are not sold, transferred or given away, nor used for breeders. Their medical, nutritional, and emotional needs are well taken care of. With help from supporters, permanent habitats are provided for exotic animals on a 70 acre compound. By "Adopting" an animal you help offset the ever-increasing costs of food, shelter, medical treatment, and enrichment. There are four levels of sponsorship (ranging from $25 on up), you can also choose to donate quarterly or annually. In return, you will receive:

* Your name/Company name prominently placed on the animal's habitat for the duration of your adoption.
* An "Adoption" Certificate and a personal history of the animal.
* A beautiful 8 X 10 photograph of your sponsored animal.
* Interesting facts about your animal's wild counterparts.

You don't get to take the adopted animal home with you, but you do get the good feeling that comes from helping a very special animal! Remember, your tax- deductible support also makes a perfect gift!

Another one ties the knot. Blu Ice was happily married on April 29th. I can’t seem to get her away from her honeymoon long enough to get more details! ;)

Hooray to FlyingV for getting a much better job than the one he had before. You can always tell how invaluable you are to a company by the level of anger your boss shows upon your departure. And, after much studying for the new company’s urine test, we are glad you passed with FlyingV Colors.

And remember that perpetually nude T.V. triviot grandfather-to-be that I blabbed about in March? Well, InTheBuff’s daughter gave birth to his granddaughter just days ago. She weighed in at 6lbs 15oz, and was born....well....nude!
